The Identification Bureau provides crime scene
investigation service for crimes against property and crimes against
persons. Forensic specialists respond to traffic accidents, burglaries,
vandalisms, as well as assaults, homicides, and officer-involved incidents.
The Bureau is one of the few agencies accredited in crime scenes.
Services provided by this Bureau include documentation and
collection of physical evidence, processing for fingerprints, photography,
crime scene sketching, metal detector searches, and laboratory processing of
evidence. Forensic specialists are also responsible for taking aerial
photographs of major crime scenes and providing photographic services for
autopsies.
